Al-Ghāshiyah (Arabic: الغاشية, "The Overwhelming", "The Pall") is the 88th chapter. The surah's topics are Paradise, Hell, and the miracle of the creation of all things by God.

1. Some faces on the Day of Judgement will be humbled; and tired after having worked so hard in the world, but their efforts in the world shall not benefit them. May Allāh save us all.
2. The food of the people of Jahannam will not be of any benefit to them, neither will it nourish them nor satiate their hunger.
3. In Jannah, no futility will be heard.
4. Look to the creation of Allāh around you, and let it lead you to recognizing your Creator.
