The summary/theme of the  surah  Al-Ḥāqqah

This is one of the earliest Surahs revealed in Makkah at a time when opposition to Muhammad (pbuh) had grown harsh and tyrannical. Allah declared the Holy Prophet Muhammad to be the epitome of morality.

Lesson learned from  surah  Al-Ḥāqqah

  1. The Prophet ﷺ wasn’t a madman.  
  2. The Prophet ﷺ was of the best character.  
  3. Allāh is best aware of those who have deviated and those who are on the truth.  
  4. On the Day of Judgement, Allāh’s Shin will be exposed and everyone will be called to prostrate, but the disbelievers will be unable to do so.  
  5. Those who belie the Qur’ān, Allāh grants them respite, unbeknown to them.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

 

أَمۡ لَهُمۡ شُرَكَآءُ فَلۡيَأۡتُواْ بِشُرَكَآئِهِمۡ إِن كَانُواْ صَٰدِقِينَ
Transliteration:( Am lahum shurakaaa'u fal ya'too bishurakaaa 'ihim in kaanoo saadiqeen )

41.Or, do they have associate (43) gods? If they have associate gods let them bring them, if they are truthful (44). give them Paradise from.

يَوۡمَ يُكۡشَفُ عَن سَاقٖ وَيُدۡعَوۡنَ إِلَى ٱلسُّجُودِ فَلَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
Transliteration:( Yawma yukshafu 'an saaqinw wa yud'awna ilas sujoodi falaa yastatee'oon )

42. On the day when the leg (45) shall,be exposed (Allah alone knows the meaning) and they will be called upon to prostrate (46) themselves, but they will not be able to do it (47).

خَٰشِعَةً أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ تَرۡهَقُهُمۡ ذِلَّةٞۖ وَقَدۡ كَانُواْ يُدۡعَوۡنَ إِلَى ٱلسُّجُودِ وَهُمۡ سَٰلِمُونَ
Transliteration:( Khaashi'atan absaaruhum tarhaquhum zillatunw wa qad kaanoo yud'awna ilassujoodi wa hum saalimoon )

43. Their eyes shall be cast (48) down and humiliation (49) shall overtake them. But verily, they were called upon to prostrate (50) themselves, indeed, while they were all safe and sound (51).

فَذَرۡنِي وَمَن يُكَذِّبُ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡحَدِيثِۖ سَنَسۡتَدۡرِجُهُم مِّنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
Transliteration:( Fazarnee wa many yukazzibu bihaazal hadeesi sanastad rijuhum min haisu laa ya'lamoon )

44.So leave (52) Me with those who reject this announcement. We shall overtake to ruin them step-by-step, which they do not perceive (53).

وَأُمۡلِي لَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ كَيۡدِي مَتِينٌ
Transliteration:( Wa umlee lahum; inna kaidee mateen )

45.And I shall give them respite;surely, My secret plan is firm.

أَمۡ تَسۡـَٔلُهُمۡ أَجۡرٗا فَهُم مِّن مَّغۡرَمٖ مُّثۡقَلُونَ
Transliteration:( Am tas'aluhum ajran fahum min maghramin musqaloon )

46.And do you ask from them a reward(54), but they are burdened with debt (55).

أَمۡ عِندَهُمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبُ فَهُمۡ يَكۡتُبُونَ
Transliteration:( Am 'indahumul ghaibu fahum yaktuboon )

47. Or, have they knowledge of the unseen, so that they write (56) it down?

فَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُن كَصَاحِبِ ٱلۡحُوتِ إِذۡ نَادَىٰ وَهُوَ مَكۡظُومٞ
Transliteration:( Fasbir lihukmi rabbika wa laa takun kasaahibil hoot; iz naadaa wa huwa makzoom )

48.So wait patiently,for the Command (57) of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish (58), when he called to the Lord while he was in distress (59).

لَّوۡلَآ أَن تَدَٰرَكَهُۥ نِعۡمَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ لَنُبِذَ بِٱلۡعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ مَذۡمُومٞ
Transliteration:( Law laaa an tadaara kahoo ni'matum mir rabbihee lanubiza bil'araaa'i wa huwa mazmoom )

49. Were it not so that the favour (60), from his Lord had overtaken him; he would certainly have been thrown upon the bare tract (61) of the land, while he was condemned (by his people).

فَٱجۡتَبَٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَجَعَلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
Transliteration:( Fajtabaahu rabbuhoo faja'alahoo minas saaliheen )

50.Then his Lord chose him, and placed him among the righteous (62).
