    بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

     

    وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ عَن ضَيۡفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ

    I obavijesti ih o gostima Ibrahimovim,

    إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمۡ وَجِلُونَ

    kada su mu ušli i rekli: “Mir!”, on je rekao: “Mi smo se vas uplašili.”

    قَالُواْ لَا تَوۡجَلۡ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٖ

    “Ne plaši se!”, rekoše, “donosimo ti radosnu vijest, učena ćeš sina imati.”

    قَالَ أَبَشَّرۡتُمُونِي عَلَىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِيَ ٱلۡكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ

    “Zar mi donosite radosnu vijest sad kad me je starost ophrvala?”, reče on, “čime ćete me obradovati?”

    قَالُواْ بَشَّرۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡقَٰنِطِينَ

    “Donosimo ti radosnu vijest koja će se doista obistiniti”, rekoše oni, “zato nadu ne gubi!”

    قَالَ وَمَن يَقۡنَطُ مِن رَّحۡمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ

    “Nadu u milost Gospodara svog mogu gubiti samo oni koji su zabludjeli”, reče on.

    قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ

    I upita: "A koji je tačno razlog vašeg dolaska, o izaslanici?"

    قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ أُرۡسِلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ مُّجۡرِمِينَ

    “Mi smo”, rekoše, “zaista bili poslani i narodu koji je prestupe činio,

    إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ

    “izuzev Lutove porodice, njih ćemo, zaista, sve spasiti,

    إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرۡنَآ إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ

    osim žene njegove, ona će, odlučili smo, s ostalima kaznu iskusiti.”
