    بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

     

    وَأَنِ ٱعۡبُدُونِيۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٞ مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ

    61. »(Y os ordené) adorarme (solo) a Mí. Este es el camino recto.

    وَلَقَدۡ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمۡ جِبِلّٗا كَثِيرًاۖ أَفَلَمۡ تَكُونُواْ تَعۡقِلُونَ

    62. »Y él ha extraviado a muchas generaciones de vosotros; ¿es que no razonáis?».

    هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُمۡ تُوعَدُونَ

    63. (Y les será dicho:) «Este es el infierno que se os había prometido.

    ٱصۡلَوۡهَا ٱلۡيَوۡمَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡفُرُونَ

    64. »Entrad y arded hoy en él por haber negado la verdad».

    ٱلۡيَوۡمَ نَخۡتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَتَشۡهَدُ أَرۡجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ

    65. Hoy sellaremos sus bocas; sus manos Nos hablarán y sus pies darán testimonio de lo que hicieron.

    وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسۡنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعۡيُنِهِمۡ فَٱسۡتَبَقُواْ ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبۡصِرُونَ

    66. Si hubiésemos querido, los habríamos cegado (extraviándolos a todos); y aunque se apresuraran por (encontrar) el camino (de la verdad), ¿cómo podrían verlo?

    وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخۡنَٰهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمۡ فَمَا ٱسۡتَطَٰعُواْ مُضِيّٗا وَلَا يَرۡجِعُونَ

    67. Y si hubiésemos querido, los habríamos transformado (en piedras) allí en sus hogares, de manera que hubiesen permanecido (inmóviles) sin capacidad para avanzar o retroceder[841].

    وَمَن نُّعَمِّرۡهُ نُنَكِّسۡهُ فِي ٱلۡخَلۡقِۚ أَفَلَا يَعۡقِلُونَ

    68. Y a quien le concedemos una larga vida le restamos facultades (haciendo que su cuerpo y su mente se debiliten). ¿No van, pues, a razonar?

    وَمَا عَلَّمۡنَٰهُ ٱلشِّعۡرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِي لَهُۥٓۚ إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٞ وَقُرۡءَانٞ مُّبِينٞ

    69. Y no le enseñamos (a Muhammad) la poesía, pues no era adecuada para él. (El Corán) no es sino una exhortación y una clara revelación

    لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيّٗا وَيَحِقَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

    70. para advertir a quienes están vivos[842] y para que se cumpla el castigo prometido sobrequienes rechazan la verdad.
