📖 Commentary of Verse 12 (Surah Al-Mursalat)

"He will forgive you your sins and cause you to enter into Paradise, beneath which streams flow, and they are pure and best dwellings in the Paradise of eternity. That is the greatest triumph."

✅ Forgiveness of Sins [24]

  • This verse highlights the ultimate mercy of Allah, promising forgiveness for the sins of the believer. It emphasizes that Islamic warriors will have their sins pardoned, including those involving human rights violations. If the rights of others were infringed, Allah Almighty will ensure their compensation by granting Paradise to those who have been wronged, provided they forgive the sinner.

✅ Entry into Paradise

  • Allah promises entry into Paradise for the righteous, describing it as a place where streams flow beneath. This image symbolizes the eternal bounties and purity of Paradise. The dwellings are referred to as pure and eternal, a place of ultimate peace and comfort for the believer who follows the path of righteousness.

✅ The Greatest Triumph [25]

  • The verse concludes by stating that the greatest success is not worldly achievements like power or fame, but the reward of Paradise.

  • The true triumph lies in earning Paradise through righteous deeds. Examples from history, such as Imam Husain, Hazrat Musa (On whom be peace), and Hazrat Ibrahim (On whom be peace), show that true success is defined by standing against tyranny and striving for righteousness.

  • As Allah says in S88:V14, "Undoubtedly, he attained to his goal who purified," highlighting that spiritual purification and the pursuit of virtue are the ultimate markers of success, not worldly status or achievements.

(1) Immunity from the punishment of Allah.

(2) Forgiveness of sins.

(3) Entry into the Paradise the blessings of which are eternal and everlasting.

(12) He will forgive for you your sins and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence. That is the great attainment.
