اَلَمۡ تَرَ اِلَى الۡمَلَاِ مِنۡۢ بَنِىۡٓ اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مُوۡسٰىۘ اِذۡ قَالُوۡا لِنَبِىٍّ لَّهُمُ ابۡعَثۡ لَنَا مَلِکًا نُّقَاتِلۡ فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِؕ قَالَ هَلۡ عَسَيۡتُمۡ اِنۡ کُتِبَ عَلَيۡکُمُ الۡقِتَالُ اَلَّا تُقَاتِلُوۡاؕ قَالُوۡا وَمَا لَنَآ اَلَّا نُقَاتِلَ فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ وَقَدۡ اُخۡرِجۡنَا مِنۡ دِيَارِنَا وَاَبۡنَآٮِٕنَاؕ فَلَمَّا کُتِبَ عَلَيۡهِمُ الۡقِتَالُ تَوَلَّوۡا اِلَّا قَلِيۡلًا مِّنۡهُمۡؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيۡمٌۢ بِالظّٰلِمِيۡنَ ﴿۲۴۶﴾
246. (O Beloved Prophet) Did you not observe the group of the children of Israel after Musa?(610) When they spoke to a Prophet of theirs: “Appoint for us a king (611) so that we may fight in the path of Allah". He (the Prophet) said: "Maybe if the fighting were obligatory on you, you would not fight" (612). They said: "What has happened to us that we should not fight in the way of Allah, whereas we have been expelled from our homes and our children"(613). But, when fighting was made obligatory on them (614), they turned their faces away, except a few (615)of them. And Allah is All Knowing of the unjust.
Surah Name : Al-Baqarah Surah Number : 2 Ayat Number: 246
وَقَالَ لَهُمۡ نَبِيُّهُمۡ اِنَّ اٰيَةَ مُلۡکِهٖۤ اَنۡ يَّاۡتِيَکُمُ التَّابُوۡتُ فِيۡهِ سَکِيۡنَةٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّکُمۡ وَبَقِيَّةٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ اٰلُ مُوۡسٰى وَاٰلُ هٰرُوۡنَ تَحۡمِلُهُ الۡمَلٰٓٮِٕكَةُ ؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً لَّـکُمۡ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنِيۡنَ ﴿۲۴۸﴾
248. And the Prophet said to them: "Surely, the sign of his kingship is that there would come to you an Ark (of the Covenant) (621) in which there is tranquillity of your heart from your Lord, and the good legacy left by the family of Musa and the family of Harun (622), carried by the angels. Surely, in that is a sign for you if you believe (623).
Surah Name : Al-Baqarah Surah Number : 2 Ayat Number: 248
﴾ وَاِذۡ قَالَ مُوۡسٰى لِفَتٰٮهُ لَاۤ اَبۡرَحُ حَتّٰۤى اَبۡلُغَ مَجۡمَعَ الۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ اَوۡ اَمۡضِىَ حُقُبًا ﴿۶۰﴾
(And recount to them the story of Moses) when Moses said to his servant: "I will journey on until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I may march on for ages."
Surah Name : Al-Kahf Surah Number : 18 Ayat Number: 60
فَلَمَّا بَلَغَا مَجۡمَعَ بَيۡنِهِمَا نَسِيَا حُوۡتَهُمَا فَاتَّخَذَ سَبِيۡلَهٗ فِىۡ الۡبَحۡرِ سَرَبًا ﴿۶۱﴾
But when they reached the point where the two rivers meet, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, as if through a tunnel.
Surah Name : Al-Kahf Surah Number : 18 Ayat Number: 61
قَالَ اَرَءَيۡتَ اِذۡ اَوَيۡنَاۤ اِلَى الصَّخۡرَةِ فَاِنِّىۡ نَسِيۡتُ الۡحُوۡتَ وَ مَاۤ اَنۡسٰٮنِيۡهُ اِلَّا الشَّيۡطٰنُ اَنۡ اَذۡكُرَهٗۚ وَاتَّخَذَ سَبِيۡلَهٗ فِىۡ الۡبَحۡرِۖعَجَبًا ﴿۶۳﴾
The servant said: "Did you see what happened? When we betook ourselves to the rock to take rest, I forgot the fish and it is only Satan who caused me to forget to mention it to you so that it made its way into the sea in a strange manner."
Surah Name : Al-Kahf Surah Number : 18 Ayat Number: 63
قَالَ اِنۡ سَاَلۡـتُكَ عَنۡ شَىۡءٍۢ بَعۡدَهَا فَلَا تُصٰحِبۡنِىۡۚ قَدۡ بَلَـغۡتَ مِنۡ لَّدُنِّىۡ عُذۡرًا ﴿۷۶﴾
Moses said: "Keep me no more in your company if I question you concerning anything after this. You will then be fully justified."
Surah Name : Al-Kahf Surah Number : 18 Ayat Number: 76
قَالَ هٰذَا فِرَاقُ بَيۡنِىۡ وَبَيۡنِكَۚ سَاُنَـبِّئُكَ بِتَاۡوِيۡلِ مَا لَمۡ تَسۡتَطِع عَّلَيۡهِ صَبۡرًا ﴿۷۸﴾
He said: "This brings me and you to a parting of ways. Now I shall explain to you the true meaning of things about which you could not remain patient.
Surah Name : Al-Kahf Surah Number : 18 Ayat Number: 78
وَاَمَّا الۡغُلٰمُ فَكَانَ اَبَوٰهُ مُؤۡمِنَيۡنِ فَخَشِيۡنَاۤ اَنۡ يُّرۡهِقَهُمَا طُغۡيَانًا وَّكُفۡرًاۚ ﴿۸۰﴾
As for the lad, his parents were people of faith, and we feared lest he should plague them with transgression and disbelief,
Surah Name : Al-Kahf Surah Number : 18 Ayat Number: 80
