Zechariah said: "Lord, grant me a Sign." Said He: "Your Sign is that you shall not be able to speak to people for three nights, though you will be otherwise sound."

41. He said: "O my Lord make for me a sign" (90). He replied: "Your sign will be that you will not speak to (anyone of) the people for three days except by sign, and remember your Lord (91) abundantly. And glorify Him in the evening and in the morning (92).
