11. Through a Messenger [42] who recites to you clear [43] verses of Allah, so that He may bring those who believe and act righteously out of darkness into light [44]. 📖 Commentary of Verse – Surah At-Talaq (65:11)

"Through a Messenger who recites to you clear verses of Allah, so that He may bring those who believe and act righteously out of darkness into light. And whoever believes in Allah and acts righteously, He will admit him to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein forever. Allah has certainly prepared for him a beautiful provision."

[42] 🥁 The Role of the Messenger

🔸 The term "ikr" refers to counseling, reminding, and remembering Allah, an act of honor and greatness.
🔸 The Prophet ﷺ is the true reminder of Allah, and it is through his teachings that the hearts find contentment.
🔸 The Holy Prophet ﷺ is the light of Allah, and his presence in the world brings peace to the hearts. Reciting Darood Shareef and Na'at Shareef brings tranquility and helps prevent illness.
🔸 Zikrullah is a term of honor for the Prophet ﷺ, who remains the reminder of Allah both in this world and the Hereafter.

[43] 💎 The Wisdom in the Prophet’s Advent

🔸 The advent of the Prophet ﷺ brings wisdom, such as teaching the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, guiding people from apostasy to faith, and from ignorance to knowledge.
🔸 The Holy Prophet ﷺ delivered the Qur'an's wisdom, and his teachings guide the people from falsehood to truth.
🔸 These attributes of the Prophet ﷺ are timeless and universal, extending beyond any particular time or place.

[44] ⚖️ From Darkness to Light

🔸 Infidelity is compared to darkness, and Islam is described as light.
🔸 While infidelity can take many forms, Islam is one, as Allah uses the singular form of light to refer to Islam and the plural form for darkness to represent various forms of infidelity.
🔸 The Prophet ﷺ brings individuals from infidelity to faith, from ignorance to knowledge, and from sin to piety, embodying the role of the best guide for humanity.

[45] 🛑 Belief in Allah and His Messengers

🔸 True belief requires sincerity in faith in the Personality and Attributes of Allah, His Prophets, and the Heavenly Scriptures.
🔸 Belief in Allah’s Oneness alone is insufficient for salvation if it does not include belief in prophethood.
🔸 Shaytan is not a polytheist; he is a monotheist but rejected prophethood, and that rejection led him to Hell.

[46] 🌱 Acting Righteously

🔸 To act righteously means to live in accordance with Islamic principles and to be sincere in worship and deeds, as per one’s capacity.
🔸 Righteous action is an essential complement to faith for achieving salvation and entering Paradise.

[47] ⚖️ Gardens Beneath Which Rivers Flow

🔸 Upon death, the believer’s soul witnesses Paradise, but they will not enter until the Day of Judgement.
🔸 The souls of martyrs, however, enter Paradise immediately after their death.

[48] 🌸 The Beauty of Paradise

🔸 Faith takes precedence over actions, but good deeds complement faith and are essential for salvation.
🔸 Allah will grant the believer several gardens of Paradise: one for Salah, one for Zakat, and one out of His mercy.
🔸 Paradise is permanent, with no death or expulsion from it. Once in Paradise, the believer will enjoy eternal bliss.

Ala-Maududi

(66:11) Allah has set forth for the believers the parable of Pharaoh’s wife. She prayed: “My Lord, build for me a house with You in Paradise and deliver me from Pharaoh and his misdeeds;[25] and deliver me from the iniquitous people.”

25. From Pharaoh and his work: from the evil end that Pharaoh would meet in consequence of his evil deeds.

(11) [He sent] a Messenger [i.e., Muḥammad (ﷺ)] reciting to you the distinct verses of Allāh that He may bring out those who believe and do righteous deeds from darknesses into the light. And whoever believes in Allāh and does righteousness - He will admit him into gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein forever. Allāh will have perfected for him a provision.
