Quran-65:3 Surah At-talaq English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

Transliteration:( Wa yarzuqhu min haisu laa yahtasib; wa many yatawakkal 'alal laahi fahuwa hasbuh; innal laaha baalighu amrih; qad ja'alal laahu likulli shai'in qadraa )

3. And give him sustenance from where he cannot imagine (17). Whosoever places his trust (18) in Allah, He is sufficient for him. Undoubtedly, Allah attains His purpose. Allah indeed has appointed a measure (19) for everything.

17. Reason for its Revelation:

Salim, son of Hazrat Auf ibn Malik, was taken as a captive. Hazrat Auf complained in the court of the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم about his poverty and his son's arrest. On hearing this, the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ,asked him to develop piety and recite LA HAWLA WALA QUWATTA...in abundance. He did as he was told. A few days later, his son knocked on the door. When the father opened the door, he was overjoyed to see his son back, coming with a hundred camels.

The infidels had become totally inattentive to realize that he had taken such great wealth of theirs' (Tafseer Roohul Mu'ani). The author of Khazainul Irfaan states that the son had brought along with him four thousand goats. Seeing all this, Hazrat Auf enquired from the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم whether this wealth was lawful for him. The reply was in the affirmative, as this wealth belonged to the combatant infidels. In response to it, this verse was revealed. This tells us that piety removes grief and brings about sustenance from unknown sources and blessings in that sustenance.

18. In this world as well as in the Hereafter. And he for whom Allah Almighty is sufficient, he does not have to knock on any other door. In fact, others will come to him.

19. Whether you place your trust in Him or not, you will only receive what is meant for you. Therefore why do you deprive yourself of the reward of the trust in Allah Almighty.

(66:3) The Prophet confided something to one of his wives and then she disclosed it (to another); so after Allah revealed to the Prophet (that she had disclosed that secret), he made a part of it known to her and passed over a part of it. And when he told her about this (i.e., that she had disclosed the secret entrusted to her), she asked: “Who informed you of this?” He said: “I was told of it by He Who is All-Knowing, All-Aware.”[6]

1.Here also, as in Surah Al-Falaq, instead of saying Audhu-billahi (I seek Allah’s refuge), a prayer has been taught to seek Allah’s refuge by reference to His three attributes: First, that He is Rabb-in-naas, i.e. Sustainer, Provider; second, that He is Malik-in-naas, i.e. Master of all mankind; third, that He is Ilah-in-naas, i.e. real Deity of all mankind. Here, one should clearly understand that the word ilah has been used in two meanings in the Quran: first for the thing or person who is practically being worshipped although it or he is not entitled to worship; second, for Him Who is entitled to worship, Who is in fact the Deity whether the people worship Him or not, wherever this word is used for Allah; it has been used in the second meaning. Seeking refuge by means of these three attributes means: I seek refuge with that God, Who being the Sustainer, King and Deity of men, has full power over them, can fully protect them and can really save them from the evil, to save myself and others from which I am seeking His refuge. Not only this; since He alone is Sustainer, King and Deity, therefore, there is no one beside Him with Whom I may seek refuge and he may give real refuge.
