📖 Commentary of Verse – Surah At-Talaq (65:9)

"So they tasted the evil result of their conduct and the end of its affair was total loss."

[39] 🥁 The Worldly Punishments vs. The Hereafter

🔸 The worldly punishments inflicted upon the infidels are much lighter compared to the severe punishments they will face in the Hereafter.
🔸 The word "to taste" is used here to signify that the punishments in this world are just a small portion of the ultimate consequences in the Hereafter.
🔸 These worldly punishments will not lessen or diminish the punishments awaiting them in the Hereafter.

[40] 💎 The End of Their Affair Was Total Loss

🔸 The punishments these people faced at their time of death and in their graves were severe and marked by total loss.
🔸 The grace of Allah ensures that believers are safe from such loss and will remain protected from the ultimate punishment.
🔸 Believers, through the mercy of Allah, will be safeguarded from the severe punishments they would otherwise face in both this world and the Hereafter.
