Transliteration:( Innaa nakhaafu mir Rabbinna Yawman 'aboosan qamtareeraa )
"Certainly, we fear from our Lord a day of stern and distressful[16] reckoning."
✅ [16] Charity Driven by the Fear of the Day of Judgment
The righteous give charity because they are motivated by their fear of the Day of Judgment — a day of severe reckoning.
This fear arises from their understanding that the ultimate reward comes from Allah alone, and they seek to earn His pleasure by performing good deeds.
They give selflessly, without expecting worldly benefits or thanks from others, as their primary concern is to please Allah and be saved from the hardships of the Day of Judgment.
