📖 Commentary of Verse 2 (71:2 Surah Nuh)

"He said: 'O my people, I am a clear warner to you.'"

✅ Calling Disbelievers "My People" (3)

This verse highlights that a believer can address disbelievers as his people. However, Islam forbids loving or forming deep attachments with them. Hazrat Nuh (Alaihissalam) used this term not out of affection but to express his responsibility in guiding them.

✅ The Importance of Gentleness in Preaching

This verse also teaches that gentleness is crucial in spreading the message of Allah (اللَّهُ ). Hazrat Nuh (Alaihissalam) did not use harsh words but approached his people with patience and wisdom, setting an example for all preachers and callers to the truth.
