Transliteration:( Summa yu'eedukum feehaa wa yukhrijukum ikhraajaa )
“Then He will return you to it, and bring you forth again.”
This part of the verse teaches us that after death, the human body returns to the earth—whether:
Through burial,
Becoming ashes in fire,
Being lost at sea, or
Devoured by wild animals.
In all cases, the earth consumes the body, and there’s no contradiction in this return, because the soul reaches its destined place, and the physical body ultimately merges with the soil it came from.
The verse continues with the certainty of resurrection:
All humans will be brought back to life from the earth on ⚖️ the Day of Judgment.
Whether someone is buried or not, Allah (اللَّهُ ) has the power to raise them again.
❗Note:
The use of the word “and” (instead of “then”) signifies that both returning to the earth and resurrection are easy and simultaneous acts for Allah (اللَّهُ ). There is no delay or sequence needed in His command.
