Transliteration:( Falam yazid hum du'aaa 'eee illaa firaaraa )
"But the more I call them, the more they run away."
This verse reveals several important principles regarding supplication (du'a) and guidance:
1️⃣ Invoke Allah (اللَّهُ ) with His Attributes of Mercy – When making du'a, one should call upon Allah using His Names and Attributes that reflect mercy and forgiveness.
2️⃣ Use the medium of good deeds – Mentioning one’s sincere efforts and righteous actions when making du'a can strengthen its acceptance.
3️⃣ If praying against someone, justify the complaint – If a supplication is made against wrongdoers, it should include valid reasons that explain their wrongdoing.
4️⃣ Avoiding the company of the pious leads to deprivation – Those who distance themselves from righteous people deprive themselves of spiritual blessings.
5️⃣ Persisting in sin is a sign of wretchedness – Consistently rejecting guidance and remaining stubborn in sin leads to destruction.
6️⃣ Opposing Prophets and Saints leads to misguidance – The infidels rejected Hazrat Nuh (Alaihissalam), seeing him as insignificant rather than a benefactor. This arrogance led to their ultimate downfall.
💡 Reflection: Just as a beggar acknowledges the wealth of the house owner, a believer should approach Allah (اللَّهُ ) with humility and sincerity to receive His blessings. Those who reject divine guidance out of pride, like the disbelievers in Hazrat Nuh’s time, deprive themselves of Allah’s mercy.
