Transliteration:( Yoolijul laila fin nahaari wa yoolijun nahaara fil lail; wa Huwa 'Aleemum bizaatis sudoor )
"He brings the night into the day and brings the day into the night [16]. And He knows the thoughts (in the deepest recesses) of the hearts [17]."
✅ [16] Control Over Cosmic and Inner Realities
Allah alternates night and day according to His divine will. This not only signifies His power over the physical world—extending and shortening days and nights with the seasons—but also symbolizes the spiritual transformation of the soul. Just as darkness gives way to light, a heart engulfed in heedlessness can be illuminated by divine guidance. Similarly, if one is not vigilant, light can be overtaken by spiritual darkness due to arrogance or negligence.
✅ [17] Awareness of the Deepest Secrets
Allah is not only aware of our actions but also of our innermost thoughts—those feelings and intentions we ourselves may not fully recognize. This verse reminds believers that nothing is hidden from Allah, neither in the open nor in the secret chambers of the heart. It is a call to purify one’s intention and remain sincere in all deeds, whether seen by people or not.
