📖 Commentary of Verse 14 (Surah Al-Qiyamah)

“But man is witness against himself.”

Complete Self-Awareness in the Hereafter[14]
In this world, many people are unaware of their sins or forget them. But in the Hereafter, every person will fully remember their actions and become a witness against themselves.
Even the body will testify: The hands, feet, and skin will bear witness to one’s deeds.
➡️ Qur’anic proof:

“That Day, We will seal their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to what they used to earn.”
(Surah Yaseen, 36:65)

Ibn-Kathir
