Transliteration:( Qaaloo yaa qawmanaaa innaa sami'naa Kitaaban unzila mim ba'di Moosa musaddiqal limaa baina yadihi yahdeee ilal haqqi wa ilaa Tareeqim Mustaqeem )
They said: "O our people, we have heard a Book [84] that has been revealed after [85] Musa, confirming the former [86] (Books) and guiding towards the truth and to the Straight [87] Path".
This refers to the Holy Qur’an, even though the jinns had only heard a portion of it. This demonstrates that every verse of the Qur’an is complete in guidance and worthy of being called the Qur’an.
The Qur’an is said to be revealed after Musa (عليه السلام) because the Taurah, like the Qur’an, contained detailed laws, unlike the Injeel and Zaboor, which were largely composed of moral counsel and sermons. Therefore, the jinns only mentioned Musa and not Isa or Dawood (peace be upon them) in this context.
The phrase "confirming the former" includes all earlier divine books—Taurah, Injeel, Zaboor—whose truths the Qur’an verifies.
The fact that the Qur’an does not prophesy another Prophet or a future book is a clear indication of its finality. Hence, the word "Musaddiq" (verifier) is used, but not "Mubashshir" (giver of glad tidings [of another Prophet]).
The Qur’an guides to both the outer path (Shari‘ah) and the inner path (Tariqah).
It provides a complete and comprehensive guide for both the practical laws and spiritual refinement of the believer.

The tafsir of Surah Ahqaf verse 30 by Ibn Kathir is unavailable here.
Please refer to Surah Ahqaf ayat 29 which provides the complete commentary from verse 29 through 32.
(46:30) They said: “Our people, We have heard a Scripture revealed after Moses, verifying the Scriptures revealed before it; it guides to the Truth and to the Straight Way.[34]
34. This shows that these jinns had already had faith in the Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) and in the divine Books. After hearing the Quran they felt that it gave the same teachings as the former Prophets had been preaching. Therefore, they believed in this Book forthwith and also in the Prophet (peace be upon him) who had brought it.
