Transliteration:( Wa izaa hushiran naasu kaanoo lahum a'daaa'anw wa kaanoo bi'ibaadatihim kaafireen )
And when mankind shall be gathered, they shall be enemies [14] to them (idols) and will deny [15] their worship.
This indicates that on the Day of Judgement, stones and wood (which were worshipped as idols) will be granted perception and speech by Allah. They will testify against the disbelievers who worshipped them, and these very idols will become a means of their punishment in Hell.
Similarly, in contrast, stones and wood will bear witness in favor of righteous deeds too—such as the Muazzin, whose voice reaches far, and even lifeless objects will testify to his faith.
The idols will not claim, "These people never worshipped us." Instead, they will say: "We never permitted them to worship us." This rejection and disavowal will turn the idols into enemies of their worshippers, reinforcing the futility and ignorance of polytheism.

7. That is, they will say: We had neither told the people to invoke us for help, nor are we aware that they used to invoke us. They themselves had presumed that we could fulfill their needs and so had started invoking us.
