📖 Commentary of Verse 23 (Surah Al-Mursalat)
"Then We proportioned it. How well are We at (things)?"
Appointed Time: Just as Allah has determined the precise duration of a fetus's stay in the womb, He has also determined the appointed time for every person's life on earth. No one can live beyond or short of this time, as it is perfectly proportioned by Allah’s will.
Divine Control: The verse reflects the absolute control Allah has over all aspects of creation. Just as He has meticulously planned the development of the fetus, He has also determined the span of each person's life. This is a reminder of Allah's supreme power in managing the entire universe.
Surah Al-Imran (3:145): "And no soul can die except by Allah's permission, at a decree determined."
This verse emphasizes that the time of death is fixed by Allah, and no one can escape or delay it, aligning with the concept of divine proportionality found in Surah Al-Mursalat.

(77:23) See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will.[13]
13. This is an express argument for the possibility of the life-after-death What is meant to be said is: When We had the power to shape and develop you into a perfect and complete man from an insignificant sperm-drop, how shall We be helpless to re-create you in some other way? Our this creation in consequence of which you exist as a living being, is a proof that We are excellent Possessors of power; We cannot be so helpless as to be unable to re-create you after having created you in the first instance.
