📖 Commentary of Verse 30 (Surah Al-Mursalat)
"Move on to the shadow of smoke having three branches."
✅ The Encompassing Smoke of Hell
Three-Branched Smoke [26]: Refers to the dense smoke of Hellfire that extends in three directions—above, right, and left—surrounding the disbelievers from all sides, much like thick worldly smoke dispersing in multiple directions.
Scene at the Field of Accountability: This smoke will reach the plain of reckoning where disbelievers will stand for judgment. Just as the believers will drink from the Fountain of Kauthar, the disbelievers will be engulfed in smoke, far from mercy.
Result of Sins: The smoke symbolizes how the disbelievers used their heart, tongue, and limbs for sin—hence smoke encircles them from three sides, mirroring their own actions.

Surah Al-Zumar (39:16): "Above them will be layers of fire, and below them layers. With this Allah threatens His servants..." – emphasizing the total engulfment of the disbelievers.
