📖 Commentary of Surah Fatir – Verse 21

"And nor the shadow and the heat of the full sun. [66]"

✅ 66. The Contrast Between Opposites

This verse symbolically distinguishes between truth and falsehood, or:

  • Paradise and Hell,

  • Reward and punishment,

  • Ease and hardship,

  • The companionship of the Holy Prophet ﷺ and being deprived of it.

Such comparisons emphasize that just as shadow and intense sunlight cannot be equal, similarly, a Prophet and a non-Prophet can never be equal.
These opposites are fundamentally distinct in their nature, benefit, and outcome.
