فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن يَوۡمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ

Transliteration:( Fawailul lillazeena kafaroo miny yawmihimul lazee yoo'adoon )

60. Woe unto those who disbelieve because of that day of theirs, which they are promised [73]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

60. Woe unto those who disbelieve because of that day of theirs, which they are promised [73].

[73] The Promised Day of Punishment

  • The "promised day" refers to a day of reckoning for the disbelievers, which could be the punishment of the Battle of Badr, the day of their death, or the Day of Judgment.

  • Each of these events signifies a moment when the disbelievers will face the consequences of their actions, whether in this world or the Hereafter.

  • The verse serves as a warning to those who reject faith, reminding them that their punishment is inevitable, whether it comes sooner or later.
