Transliteration:( Tajree bi a'yuninaa jazaaa'an liman kaana kufir )
"Sailing before Our Eyes [22], a reward for him who was rejected [23]."
✅ [22] Safety of the Ark
The ark remained safe because of Hazrat Nuh (AS), as it was protected by Allah. Despite the rampant deluge, only those under Allah’s protection, like Hazrat Nuh (AS), were saved. This teaches us that mere physical means cannot offer safety unless Allah’s protection is granted.
✅ [23] The Rejection of Hazrat Nuh
The verse refers to Hazrat Nuh (AS), who was rejected by the infidels. It signifies that true salvation was granted to him, and through him, his followers were saved. This highlights the importance of seeking a Waseela (a medium), as blessings and salvation can be received through a righteous intermediary.

Please refer to Surah Qamar ayat 9 which provides the complete commentary from verse 9 through 17.
(54:14) which sailed on under Our supervision: a reward for him who had been shown ingratitude.[13]
13. Literally: This was a vengeance for the sake of him whose kufr had been committed. If kufr be taken in the sense of denial, it would mean: Whose message had been denied and rejected; and if it is taken in the meaning of ingratitude for a blessing, it would mean: Who was indeed a blessing for the people, but had been ungratefully rejected.
