    📖 Commentary of Verse 8 (Surah Al-Qamar)

    "Hastening [12] towards the caller. These disbelievers will say: 'This day is a hard [13] day.'"

    ✅ [12] Running Towards the Call
    This refers to the disbelievers hastening towards the caller on the Day of Judgement, rushing towards their fate as they hear the call to account for their deeds.

    ✅ [13] The Hardship of the Day
    This means that as they move towards the Plain of Reckoning, the disbelievers will internally acknowledge the severity of the day. They will recognize the overwhelming difficulty but will be unable to speak or express their fear due to the gravity of the situation.
    The Day of Judgement will be ominous and terrifying for the disbelievers, but easy for the believers. The disbelievers will be stricken with fear, while the believers will find peace and security, as Allah Almighty says:
    "And they are secure that Day from bewilderment" (Surah 27, Ayat 89).
