    📖 Commentary of Verse 42 (Surah Al-Qamar)

    "They belied all Our Signs [56]. So, We seized them with the grip of the Honourable and the Authoritative [57]."

    ✅ [56] Here, 'signs' signify the miracles of Hazrat Musa (On whom be peace) and not the verses of the Tauraat

    The 'Signs' mentioned in this verse refer to the miracles shown by Hazrat Musa (A.S.) to Pharaoh and his people—such as the staff turning into a serpent, the hand shining with light, and other supernatural events.
    These cannot refer to the verses of the Tauraat, as it was revealed after Pharaoh was drowned.

    ✅ [57] This means nobody can free you from the clutches of one who is All-Powerful

    The phrase “the grip of the Honourable and the Authoritative” points to Allah’s absolute power and dignity. When Allah seizes someone, no force or power can rescue them.
    His grip is firm, and His authority is supreme—an unshakable reminder of the fate of those who deny His signs.
