Quran-54:20 Surah Al-qamar English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

تَنزِعُ ٱلنَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمۡ أَعۡجَازُ نَخۡلٖ مُّنقَعِرٖ

Transliteration:( Tanzi'un naasa ka annahum a'jaazu nakhlin munqa'ir )

20.It used to beat down the men as if they were the trunks of uprooted palm (29) trees.

29.The people of Aad were very tall and Says Allah Almighty: "The like of strong.whom were not created in the cities"(S89:V8) However, when Divine punishment comes power and strength will not help you.
