Transliteration:( Wa laqad jaaa'ahum minal anbaaa'i maa feehi muzdajar )
"And certainly, news has come to them [6] in which there are sufficient warnings [7]."
✅ [6] Importance of Well-Known Historical Information
Two key points emerge from this:
Islam gives greater importance to well-known and widely accepted information. The destruction of previous nations was already known to the Arabs, and their locations were also familiar to them.
Studying the history of past nations is beneficial. It offers valuable lessons, making the study of historical events a praiseworthy and insightful practice.
✅ [7] Clear Warnings from the Stories of Past Nations
This means the disbelievers of Arabia were already well aware of the destruction and ruin that befell previous nations.
Had they reflected sincerely upon these stories, they would not have rejected the message of the Prophet ﷺ.
Unfortunately, they failed to reflect, and thus remained in denial.
