Transliteration:( Wa law laa fadlul laahi 'alaikum wa rahmatuhoo wa annal laaha Tawwaabun Hakeem (section 1) )
“And if the grace of Allah and His mercy [20] had not been upon you, …and that Allah is Relenting, Wise. (He would have opened your secret).”
This verse reminds believers that only through Allah’s grace and mercy are they protected from disgrace or exposure.
Had Allah not been Relenting in accepting repentance, and Wise in managing His creation, many hidden faults could have been laid bare.
This portion suggests:
If not for Allah’s favour, the hidden faults or intentions behind certain accusations or behaviors might have been exposed.
But because He is Tawwaab (Relenting) and Hakeem (Wise), He allows room for repentance, and protects the dignity of believers unless wrongdoing is made public.
It gently warns against hypocrisy and false accusation, while affirming that Allah’s mercy often withholds punishment even when it is deserved.

(24:10) Were it not for Allah’s Bounty and His Mercy unto you and that Allah is much prone to accept repentance and is Wise, (you would have landed yourselves into great difficulty on the question of unsubstantiated accusation of your spouses).
