Transliteration:( Yuqallibul laahul laila wannahaar; inna fee zaalika la'ibratal li ulil absaar )

44. Allah turns about the night and day, (123) Undoubtedly in it is a lesson for those who have eyes.

 123. By this, it is meant that when the night goes day comes, and when the day ends night comes. Or, sometimes the nights and days are bitterly cold and sometimes hot. Or, sometimes the night is big and the day becomes short, and vice versa. The same is the condition of nations; sometimes one nation gains victory and at other times another nation is victorious. We should take a lesson from this rise and fall.
