Transliteration:( Yawma'iziny yuwaf feehimul laahu deenahumul haqqa wa ya'lamoona annal laaha Huwal Haqqul Mubeen )
“On the day Allah will give them true [46] punishment in full, and they will know that Allah alone is the manifest truth.”
This verse continues the accountability of the Hereafter, declaring that on that Day, Allah will:
Give the slanderers their full punishment,
And make them realize the ultimate reality — that Allah is the clear, undeniable truth.
The word “true punishment” means:
A punishment that is fully deserved, with no injustice in the slightest.
It will be the complete consequence of their sins, especially false accusations and moral corruption.
The footnote highlights an important linguistic point:
In Arabic, the word "Deen" can also mean recompense or punishment,
This is why the Day of Judgment is known as "Yawm ad-Deen" — the Day of Full Retribution.
On that Day, the guilty will have no excuse, and no one can lessen their penalty.
They will come to know with certainty — what they ignored in the world — that Allah alone is the absolute truth and His justice is perfect.
