Transliteration:( Sa-yahdeehim wa yuslihu baalahum )
"He will guide them and improve [17] their condition."
This verse continues the description of those who are martyred in the path of Allah and explains the special favors granted to them:
No hardship at the time of death: Martyrs are spared the pain and difficulty that usually accompanies death. Their departure from this world is peaceful and honored.
No questioning in the grave: Unlike others, martyrs are not subjected to the grave's interrogation by the angels Munkar and Nakir. Their status exempts them from this trial.
Right to intercede: Martyrs are blessed with the privilege of interceding on behalf of their family members in the Hereafter. This intercession can lead to forgiveness and elevation of their loved ones.
Instant access to Divine Presence: Upon martyrdom, the soul is presented immediately before Allah, bypassing the usual transition phases. This is the root meaning of the word "Shaheed"—the one who is present before the Divine Court.
Lofty position in Paradise: Allah guides the martyrs to Paradise, grants them the highest ranks, and allows them to witness His mercy firsthand.
Thus, this verse affirms that martyrdom is not an end, but rather the beginning of eternal honor, and a direct path to Allah’s pleasure and reward.
