📖 Commentary of Surah Al-Qalam, Verse 15

"When Our Verses are recited to him, he says: 'These are the tales of the ancients.'"

[15] Waleed’s Rejection of the Qur'an

  • Waleed ibn Mugheerah would dismiss the recitation of the Qur'an by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as mere fabrications and tales of the ancients, calling them stories that had no relevance to the present.

  • This attitude highlights the rejection of divine guidance by those who are too prideful or blinded by their own worldly views, leading them to undermine the truth.
