Transliteration:( An kaana zaa maalinw-wa baneen )
"Simply because he possesses wealth and children."
This verse addresses the false pride of individuals who think that their wealth and children give them superiority or immunity from consequences. It highlights that wealth and children alone cannot guarantee a person’s virtue or righteousness.
The foundations of wealth and family are often crooked when they are used to oppress others or oppose the truth. These are temporary attributes that cannot shield one from Allah’s justice.
The verse also reminds us that Allah Himself takes revenge on behalf of His Prophet (PBUH) when people, like Waleed ibn Mugheerah, use their wealth and influence to oppose the message of Islam.

(68:14) (who so acts) simply because he has wealth and sons,[10]
10. This sentence may be connected with the preceding theme as well as with the following sentence. In the first case, it would mean: Do not yield to the influence of such a person just because he has plenty of wealth and children. In the second: He has become proud because he possesses abundance of wealth and children; so when Our revelations are recited to him, he says: These are tales of ancient times.
