Transliteration:( Wa maa lahum bihee min 'ilmin iny yattabi'oona illaz zanna wa innaz zanna laa yughnee minal haqqi shai'aa )
“But they have no knowledge of it. They follow mere conjecture, and verily the conjecture avails nothing against the truth [32].”
✅ [32] The Falsehood of Conjecture
This verse emphasizes the futility of relying on mere conjecture, which contradicts the divine truth and guidance. The conjecture of those who oppose the truth, such as the devil’s false reasoning, led to their downfall. The verse highlights that valid conclusions must align with the categorical principles of Qiyaas (analogy) as opposed to baseless assumptions. The certainty of meeting Allah and returning to Him is affirmed, dismissing unfounded beliefs that contradict Divine truth.
And say, "This is manifest slander" (S24:V12). Thus, this verse cannot become a proof for the people of defective beliefs to reject Qiyaas (analogy).

(53:28) although they have no knowledge regarding that. They only follow their conjecture[23] and conjecture can never take the place of the Truth.
23. That is, they have not adopted this creed about the angels on the ground that they had found through some means of knowledge that they were females and daughters of God, but they have presumed this on mere conjecture and have set up these shrines at which they pray for fulfillment of desires, make offerings and pay tributes.
