Transliteration:( Am lil insaani maa taman naa )

24.Can the man have whatever he wishes [28]? (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

📖 Verse 24 (Surah An-Najm)

“Can the man have whatever he wishes [28]?”
(Kanzul Imaan Translation)

✅ [28] Desire of the Polytheists
In this verse, 'human being' refers to the polytheists, and 'his desire' refers to the belief that idols can intercede for them. The verse indicates that this desire will not be fulfilled, as the idols will not be able to intercede on their behalf.

20. Another meaning of this verse can be: Is man entitled to take anyone he pleases as his god? Still another meaning can be: Can the desire of man to have his prayers answered by these gods ever be fulfilled?
