Transliteration:( Wa annahoo huwa adhaka wa abkaa )
"And it is surely He Who makes you to laugh and makes you to weep [54]."
✅ [54] Allah's Control Over Emotions
This verse highlights that only Allah has the power to bring about happiness or grief for whom He wills. Some interpretations suggest that while Allah may grant temporary joy to the negligent in this world, they may experience sorrow in the Hereafter. Others explain that on the Day of Judgment, Allah will grant pleasure to the inhabitants of Paradise and grief to those in Hell. Additionally, Allah controls emotions in different ways — causing the rain to fall, bringing joy to the hearts of the righteous, or making the mystics weep with fear or love. The verse speaks to Allah's ultimate control over human emotions and experiences.
