Transliteration:( Wa ja'altu lahoo maalam mamdoodaa )
“And gave him abundant riches.”
✅ The Luxurious Life of Waleed bin Mugheerah [10]
— Waleed bin Mugheerah was among the wealthiest men of Makkah.
— Historical sources (like Tafseer Khazain and Tafseer Azizi) mention he possessed around 300,000 dinars, a massive fortune in those times.
— He owned a large garden in Taif, known for its rich produce, bearing fruits throughout the year — a rare blessing in the Arabian climate.
— Despite receiving such worldly comforts and financial stability from Allah ﷻ, Waleed remained arrogant, denied the truth, and used his resources to oppose the mission of the Prophet ﷺ.
— This verse reminds us that wealth without gratitude and humility can become a cause of destruction.
