Transliteration:( Laa tubqee wa laa tazar )
“It neither leaves nor spares any.”
✅ The unrelenting nature of Hellfire[20]
This verse describes the intense and relentless nature of Hellfire. It will not spare any part of its inmates, burning every aspect of their being. Hellfire will not leave even the smallest part untouched, consuming everything entirely.
✅ Endless torment and eternal punishment
The torment of Hell will not stop after the initial punishment. The fire will continue to burn the flesh, re-create it, and burn it again, in an eternal cycle. This continuous process ensures that the torment of the disbelievers is never-ending.
✅ A warning about the consequences of disbelief
This verse serves as a stern warning that those who reject Allah’s (اللَّهُ ) guidance and deny the truth of the Prophet ﷺ will face this unimaginable, eternal punishment. There will be no respite or relief from the burning fire of Hell.

(74:28) It spares nothing; it leaves nothing intact;[15]
15. This can have two meanings: first, that it will burn to ashes whoever is cast into it, but even after death he will not escape from punishment: he will be given life once again and burnt once again, This very subject has been treated at another place thus: He will neither die in it nor live. (Surah Al-Aala, Ayat 13). Another meaning can also be: It will leave none who has deserved the punishment and it will spare none from being punished.
