Transliteration:( Wa kunnaa nakhoodu ma'al khaaa'ideen )
“And we used to enter into vain discourses with those who indulged therein.”
This verse highlights how the disbelievers, in collaboration with other infidels, used to engage in vain discourses. They would spread false accusations and smear Islam and its founder, the Holy Prophet ﷺ. Their discussions were not aimed at truth but were focused on mocking and discrediting the teachings of Islam.
Such actions reflect the arrogance and ignorance of those who reject the message of Allah (اللَّهُ ), often leading them to disrespect the very principles that uphold the truth.
