“And I made for him extensive preparations.”

— Allah ﷻ mentions how Waleed bin Mugheerah was not just wealthy, but also granted a high social rank.
— He was the chief of his tribe in Makkah — a position of influence and authority.
— People respected his judgments and consulted him in important matters.

Widespread admiration within his society
— Despite these blessings, he rejected the truth and used his influence to oppose the Prophet ﷺ — a reminder that worldly success without faith leads to ruin.
