Quran-14:32 Surah Ibrahim English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

Transliteration:( Allaahul lazee khalaqas samaawaati wal arda wa anzala minas samaaa'i maaa'an faakhraja bihee minas samaraati rizqal lakum wa sakhkhara lakumul fulka litajriya fil bahri bi amrihee wa sakhkhara lakumul anhaar )

32. Allah is who created the heavens and the earth and caused water to (69) come down from the heaven, then He produced some fruits therewith for your food (70), and He made the ships subservient to you that they may sail through the sea by His command (71) and made the rivers subservient to you.

Surah Ibrahim Ayat 32 Tafsir (Commentry)

  • Tafseer-e-Naeemi (Ahmad Yaar Khan)
  • Ibn Kathir
  • Ala-Madudi

69. From this we learn that the water of the wells and rivers too come from the sky. Thus if there is no rain they all become dry.

70. Of these fruit some you have nourishment and some as medicine. The purpose of this is to show that everything in the world is created for your benefit because Allah Almighty is not in need of them. Thus appreciation and justice demands that you too should do something in return for Him you should worship Him, which in reality too, is for your benefit.

71. So that Oh man you should benefit from these conditions because water does not carry a burden, as by nature it is thin. Nevertheless, through the ship heavy and huge things float in the oceans. Likewise, we too should have been completely sunk in this world, but through the blessings of the Prophets and the Saints we are able to cross both the worlds.

(14:32) It is Allah[43] Who created the heavens and the earth, Who sent down water from the heaven and thereby brought forth a variety of fruits as your sustenance, Who subjected for you the ships that they may sail in the sea by His command, Who subjected for you the rivers,

43. That is, it is the same Allah Whose bounties they are repaying with ingratitude and disobedience and with Whom they are setting up equals even though He has been so bountiful to them.
