Quran-14:50 Surah Ibrahim English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

سَرَابِيلُهُم مِّن قَطِرَانٖ وَتَغۡشَىٰ وُجُوهَهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ

Transliteration:( Saraabeeluhum min qatiraaninw wa taghshaa wujoohahumun Naar )

50. Their shirt (109) shall be of pitch and the fire shall cover their faces.

109. This means that their bodies will be smeared in a dark resinous substance which will be like a shirt. This substance has a pungent odour, heat and easily catches fire SARABIL (shirts) is the plural of SARBAAL shirt - SARAWIL with the letter WOW means pants. And fire will destroy their entire bodies. including their faces. The description of the very thing follows after it in "shall cover their faces"

(14:50) their garments shall be black[58] as if made out of pitch, and flames of the Fire shall cover their faces

58. Some commentators and translators are of the opinion that Qatiran stands for sulphur or molten copper but actually it stands for tar and the like.
