Transliteration:( Tanzeelum Minar-Rahmaanir-Raheem )
This is a revelation from the Most Affectionate, the Most Merciful [2].
Two important points emerge from this verse:
1. The Qur’an was revealed gradually over a period of twenty-three years.
This progressive revelation suited the circumstances and needs of the time, allowing the message to be absorbed and implemented stage by stage. It served to strengthen the hearts of the believers and guide them through evolving situations.
2. The Holy Qur’an is a complete reflection of the beautiful attributes of Allah Almighty.
That is why mercy and compassion are emphasized here. Since the Qur’an is a manifestation of divine mercy, its guidance is rooted in affection, not harshness—showing Allah’s boundless kindness towards humanity.
