Quran-41:51 Surah Fussilat English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

Transliteration:( Wa izaaa an'amnaa 'alal insaani a'rada wa na-aa bijaani bihee wa izaa massahush sharru fazoo du'aaa'in 'areed )

51.And when We bless a human being, he turns away (142) withdrawing aside, and when evil befalls him, then he offers long prayers (143),

142. Here, too, 'man' denotes infidel and withdrawn face indicates to forget Allah Almighty, to boast about their bounties and commit countless sins."man will not understand Him, no matter how intelligent he may be, Who fails to remember Allah Almighty in his comfort, and has no fear of Him in his fit of anger".

143. From this we learn that to forget your Creator in your prosperity and to remember Him in your adversity only, is the practice of the infidels. Allah Almighty dislikes this. Here, there is no censure of offering dua, but censure is made for not offering dua in your days of comfort.

(41:51) When We bestow Our favour upon man, he turns away and waxes proud;[67] but when a misfortune touches him, he is full of supplication.[68]

67. That is, he turns away from Our obedience and worship, and thinks it is below his dignity to bow to Us.
