That is the reward of the enemies [73] of Allah: the Fire, wherein they shall abide eternally [74], as the punishment for denying Our Verses.
Those who oppose Allah, His Messenger ﷺ, and His Book, and who actively resist the truth, are referred to as “enemies of Allah”.
This enmity is not just through disbelief, but also through mockery, denial, suppression, and deliberate disruption of divine guidance.
Their position as enemies is confirmed by their hostility to the Qur'an and their efforts to mislead others.
The just consequence for such enemies is Hell, where they will remain forever.
This is the eternal punishment for those who not only disbelieved but denied and rejected the signs of Allah with arrogance and malice.
This verse confirms that:
The punishment of Hell is eternal for those who die upon disbelief,
And their primary crime was not ignorance, but willful rejection of clear guidance.
Such verses are a warning and reminder of the severe consequences of turning away from divine truth.
