Transliteration:( Wa Huwal lazee yabda'ul khalqa summa yu'eeduhoo wa huwa ahwanu 'alaih; wa lahul masalul a'laa fissamaawaati wal-ard; wa Huwal 'Azeezul Hakeem (section 3) )
"And it is He who creates, then He reproduces [53] it (after death). And it is most easy for Him [54]. And for Him are the most exalted attributes in the heavens and the earth [55]. And He is the Honourable, the Wise."
This verse refers to the process of initial creation and its repetition after death.
When Hazrat Israfeel (peace be upon him) blows the first Trumpet, all creation will perish. Upon the second blowing, everything will be resurrected.
While the first creation unfolded gradually, the recreation will occur instantly by Allah's command.
The statement "it is most easy for Him" is not to suggest that initial creation was difficult—for nothing is difficult for Allah.
Rather, it appeals to human reasoning: just as rebuilding something is easier than inventing it from scratch, so too should resurrection be easier to comprehend once one already believes in Allah as the original Creator.
It rebukes those who acknowledge Allah’s creation yet doubt His ability to recreate.
Allah's names, attributes, and perfections are the loftiest and most exalted, beyond any human comparison.
This does not contradict the verse: "Nothing is like Him", as there's a clear difference between similitude (to help understand) and resemblance (which implies equality or likeness).
For example, in the verse: "The similitude of His light is as a niche..." (Surah An-Nur, 24:35), the similitude is metaphorical, helping humans grasp a concept—not a literal comparison.
Thus, Allah is the Most Honourable, Most Wise, and all His attributes reflect absolute perfection without resembling the creation.
The tafsir of Surah Ar-Rum verse 27 by Ibn Kathir is unavailable here.
Please refer to Surah Rum ayat 26 which provides the complete commentary from verse 26 through 27.
(30:27) It is He Who creates in the first instance and it is He Who will repeat the creation, and that is easier for Him.[38] His is the loftiest attribute in the heavens and the earth. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise.
38. That is, if it was not difficult for Him to create you in the first instance, how can it be difficult for Him to recreate you? Your first creation was not difficult for Him because your present existence is a living proof of that. Now it is simple commonsense that the re-making of a thing should be relatively easier for the one who made it the first time.
