Transliteration:( Alqiyaa fee Jahannama kulla kaffaarin 'aneed )
"It will be commanded: 'Cast into Hell every ungrateful [41] (soul).'"
The verse highlights the command to cast into Hell every ungrateful soul. This refers to the disbelievers and ungrateful people who, despite receiving Allah’s blessings and guidance, chose to reject faith and live in disobedience.
Two important points are derived from this:
The angels who were assigned to record the deeds of the infidels will also be responsible for casting them into Hell. The disbelievers will not be gently led into Hell; rather, they will be hurled into it from above.
While a sinful believer may be sent to Hell, they will not be hurled into it in the same way. The use of words like "ungrateful" and "obstinate" in this context highlights the arrogance and stubbornness of those who reject the truth, making them deserving of this severe fate.
The tafsir of Surah Qaf verse 24 by Ibn Kathir is unavailable here.
Please refer to Surah Qaf ayat 23 which provides the complete commentary from verse 23 through 29.
(50:24) The command was given: “Cast into Hell[28] every hardened, stubborn unbeliever,[29]
28. As the context shows this command will be given to the two angels who had taken the culprit into their custody as soon as he had risen from the grave, and then brought him before the court.
29. The word kaffar as used in the text means an ungrateful person as well as a denier of the truth.
