Transliteration:( Allazee ja'ala ma'al laahi ilaahan aakhara fa alqiyaahu fil'azaabish shadeed )
"Who had set up other gods with Allah. So cast him into severe [44] punishment."
The verse describes the severe punishment awaiting those who associate partners with Allah (i.e., commit shirk). The punishment for such individuals is described as extremely harsh and eternal.
This punishment is for the disbelievers who rejected the Oneness of Allah and set up other gods in His place. The severity and eternity of their punishment reflect the gravity of shirk and the rejection of divine truth.
In contrast, the punishment for sinful believers will be much lighter and will not be eternal. Their punishment, though painful, will not last forever, and they will eventually be forgiven by Allah's mercy.
