📖 Commentary of Surah Al-Furqan – Verse 22

"The Day they will see the angels [43], there will be no glad tidings for the guilty [44]. They will say, 'O Allah! Place a barrier forbidden between us and them' [45]."

✅ [43] The Day They See the Angels

This refers to the Day of Judgement, when the disbelievers will finally see the angels—not for mercy or guidance, but for punishment and accountability. What they once demanded will now become a source of terror.

✅ [44] No Glad Tidings for the Guilty

On that Day, the guilty—those who denied truth—will receive no good news, no hope, no relief. Instead, they will face only divine wrath, regret, and disgrace.

✅ [45] Wishing for Separation

In despair, they will plead: “O Allah! Place a forbidden barrier between us and them.” This reflects their wish to avoid the sight of the angels, but it will be too late. Their plea will not be accepted, as the time for mercy will have already passed.
