Transliteration:( Laa ya'kuluhooo illal khaati'oon )
"Which none but the sinners [43] eat."
This verse clarifies that only the sinners—specifically the disbelievers—will be subjected to eating the pus described earlier in the verse. The sinners are those who have lived their lives in disobedience to Allah, rejecting His guidance and indulging in wrong beliefs. These are the infidels who denied the truth and chose to live in defiance of Allah’s commands.
The verse makes it clear that the punishment of consuming this revolting food is reserved exclusively for those who have rejected faith and followed a path of sin. It is a vivid portrayal of the humiliation and suffering they will face in the Hereafter as a consequence of their disbelief.
This verse serves as a reminder that the choices made in this life have eternal consequences. The disbelievers and sinners will experience extreme torment in the Hereafter, while those who follow the path of righteousness and obedience to Allah will be protected from such punishments. It also underscores the importance of faith and the severity of rejecting divine guidance.
